Things are going relatively well.
Georgie had a breathing problem a few days ago, but is doing much better.
He started daycare last month and is enjoying it now. I hear he reaches for his teacher when Kiko takes him there, and reaches for Kiko when she comes to take him home. Guess he's got it pretty well figured out.
We're getting back into the routine.
Our next full concert is in November, but we have had/will have a few "appearances" in other concerts this month and last month.
Trying to finish our 1st album in the next few months.
Now recording mostly guitars, bass, percussion. Recording. Listening and mixing. Rerecording. Trying something completely different. Next will be more of Kiko's vocals and keyboardage. A few sax tracks to rerecord.
That's about it. Anything I missed?

We had dinner with my grandparents in Shenango Forks to celebrate my grandpa's birthday. We took some pictures on the railroad tracks nearby. Don't worry, no one uses them now.

Enjoying Culture Shock and Jet Lag!

I have found I enjoy going places, but now hate traveling. Perhaps it's because I think it ridiculous how tiring and barbaric 21st century travels can be. Now we're in the small town of Sidney Center, NY, enjoying our culture shock and jet lag. Grandpa showed us around the church and parsonage. Thus begins the spoiling from the new grandparents! Now for the 1st round of pics.

It's almost time for us to leave for the States. One more week. The bad news is, I don't think we'll be able to hit the southeast. George is really happy most of the time. He tries to talk regularly. I sang some opera for him and he really liked it-smiling and laughing. He really enjoys live music. Took him to a church concert last month and he watched about 15 minutes of choral music without even moving! He was frozen.

A sad commentary on peace

It is sad when "peace" is a discarded, trampled cigarette pack.I must have seen this and walked by its 20 times before I finally snapped some pictures of it. Between these two pictures it went through several rainstorms.
